About Us
Hi, I’m Charlotte and I am the face behind Hugo’s.
I have a Level 5 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce and have worked within an Early Years Setting for 11 years, with many of those years being a Nursery Manager.
I am a first time Mum to our son Hugo, hence the name choice!
During my maternity leave, I took some time to think about my next steps for the future, which led me to opening Hugo’s!
About Hugo's
As a Mum, I know how important it is to get out of the house, to see other friendly faces and meet new people, which is why I decided to start this new adventure.
In the early days of Hugo, it was very much a case of walking the dog and going for coffee (And lots of cake!) as he was still too little to explore many of the groups.
With this in mind, I wanted to create a relaxed environment where both newborns and toddlers can come along to play, explore, be curious and creative, whilst making it aesthetically pleasing!
It is important to me that children can immerse themselves into their play within a calm space, so that wholesome memories can be made.
Hugo’s is a high quality ‘home from home’ indoor play environment which incorporates different learning styles to meet the individual needs of all children.
Children are able to explore sensory play, small world, imaginary play, messy play and much more!
The areas set out within Hugo’s are designed with care by our Early Years qualified team, to provide the maximum opportunity for children to learn, promote self-confidence, independence and social skills, whilst enabling them to explore the awe and wonder of the world.
Play Sessions
Our play sessions run at specific times throughout the day and must be booked online, prior to visiting. Walk-ins are unfortunately not accepted, to enable us to manage capacity and provide a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
And don’t worry… We do all of the tidying and regularly check the areas to ensure they are clean and safe for our little visitors.
In addition to this, we also provide themed events, birthday parties and exclusive hire.
And if that isn’t enough… I have made sure cake factors in too! For anyone that already knows me, they will know that this is also very important!
